What time suits you?
The sauna has the same times every day. Pick a time and see it for the next seven days. A session lasts 2 hours and the 06:00 session 3, including the time it takes to heat up.
Weekday mornings (06:00 and 09:00): NOK 120, children NOK 80. Otherwise NOK 190, children NOK 135. Firewood is included.
Booking and payment are handled by Periode.

- The doorUnlock. Your code opens the padlock on the door. Leave it hanging open until you leave.
- The front roomGet firewood. It is in the bench chests in the front room and included in the price.
- The chimneyLight the stove. The sauna is cold when you arrive, and heating up is part of your session.
- The windowsSit down. Three windows in the sauna room face the sea.
- The seaCool off. The door on the other side opens towards the sea. There is a changing room, but no shower.
- The thresholdTidy up. Squeegee the water out through the main door and wash the benches. Green soap and a squeegee are provided.

Tidy up. Squeegee the water out through the main door and wash the benches. Green soap and a squeegee are provided.
From 18 you can use the sauna on your own. Under 18, come with an adult. Rules of use
Prices
NOK 80–190 per place
A session costs NOK 190, NOK 135 for children. Weekday morning sessions cost NOK 120 and NOK 80. Firewood is included.
You can use your session card for others too, several on one booking.

Austevoll IK is a non-profit sports club that owns and runs Storebø Sauna. The sauna opened on 17 January 2025.
From the car to the sea
You cannot drive up to the sauna.
- Park where the map says “Parkering”, at the end of Prestaneset.
- Walk along the shore to the end of the quay.
- The sauna stands at the very end, one door facing the quay and the other facing the sea.
