- Is firewood included?
- Yes. The firewood is in the bench chests in the front room.
- How long is a session?
- 2 hours, including heating up. The 06:00 session lasts 3.
- Is the sauna warm when I arrive?
- No. The sauna is self-service, and you heat it up yourself. That keeps the price down.
- Can we book the whole sauna?
- Yes. Book all 12 places on one session. With a 12-session card it costs NOK 1,290, against NOK 2,280 paying per place.
- How does the lock work?
- After booking you get a code that opens the digital padlock on the door. Leave the padlock hanging open until you leave.
- Do I have to clean up?
- Yes. Leave the sauna as you found it: squeegee the water out through the main door and wash the benches. Green soap and a squeegee are provided.
- What is the age limit?
- From 18 you can use the sauna on your own. Under 18, you must come with an adult.
- Is there a shower?
- No. There is a changing room, and clean, fresh seawater right outside.
- What is Austevoll IK’s role?
- Austevoll IK is a non-profit sports club that owns and runs Storebø Sauna. The surplus goes to sport and leisure in Storebø.
- I didn’t get my code. What do I do?
- Check your spam folder first. If it isn’t there, ask the club and we will send a new one.
- How do I book?
- Pick a time under “Times” and press “Book”. You fill in your name and pay, and then you get your code.
- Where do I park?
- You cannot drive up to the sauna. Park at the end of Prestaneset and walk along the shore to the quay.

Rules of use
Me på Storebø Sauna set fellesskap og omsynsfull bruk i fokus. Det er avgjerande at alle som nyttar våre fasilitetar, respekterer desse reglane:
- Kun reint, ublanda vatn er tillate å helle på varmesteinane for å skapa damp.
- Å medbringe eller konsumere alkohol på eller rundt anlegget er strengt forbode, i samsvar med gjeldande lovgiving.
- Når saunaen vert delt med andre, er det viktig å visa omsyn ved ikkje å ta opp meir plass enn nødvendig.
- For å oppretthalda eit behageleg inneklima, ver venleg å ikkje ta med mat eller snacks inn i saunaområdet.
- Adgang til saunaen er forbehalden betalande gjester. Det er ikkje lov å sleppa inn utanforståande som ikkje har betalt for adgang.
- Me ber alle brukarar om å bidra til eit reint og fint miljø ved å rydda opp etter seg og forlate saunaen i same stand som då dei kom.
- Vis alltid omsyn til andre i nærområdet, slik at me bidrar til at det er triveleg å opphalda seg på Storebø Brygge for alle.
Ignorering av desse reglane kan føra til avslutning av avtale, samt mogelege juridiske tiltak, inkludert utestenging og erstatningskrav.
